solaris PLUS

A project  for international allocation of training contents dealing with renewable energies

The field of energy supply is changing right now. Against the background of climate change and raising energy demand the extension of renewable energy resources is a future-oriented need. Therefore, compliance of climate protection goals and energy efficiency criteria as well as the extension of renewable energy resources are tasks with international importance. This development parallel implies a demand of appropriate educated specialists – not only in Germany.

The project solaris PLUS targets therefore to transfer established vocational training concepts in the field of renewable energies into the training schedules of the European partner countries.

Concrete measures are:

  • Innovation transfer in relation to established training concepts and its practical realization on the job
  • Roundup, Description and Assessment of appropriate training concepts according to comparable international ECVET – criteria (European Credit Transfer System for Vocational Education and Training)
  • Development of training modules for several branches in the field of renewable energies as well as its official accreditation for vocational training in the partner countries
  • Generation of a multiplier programme for trainers in the field of renewable energies as well as the implementation training tests in the partner countries
  • Further development of the Experimentation – Equipment – System “Renewable Energies” (EES) for international use in vocational training
  • Generation of a international training network in the field of renewable energies with active involvement of responsible ministries, national agencies, institutions in vocational education, SMEs as well as regional and local administration authorities
  • Training contents should apply in vocational training, in retraining and further qualifications.
